Masham Gallery Launches 2014 program

Owned and run by local artist Josie Beszant, the gallery is a magnet for visitors to the beautiful market town of Masham - which is only a short drive from Harrogate and makes an excellent start to a day in the Dales. This informal and inviting gallery sells work by over 80 artists and craftspeople including Ian Scott Massie, Hester Cox and Janis Goodman. You will find an astounding selection of high quality individual pieces often unavailable anywhere else.
 Masham Gallery is where you’ll unearth gifts for people who have everything, unusual ceramics, paintings and handmade prints as well as a  range of jewellery, toys and gifts. Also offered is a fabulous framing service so you can get everything done under one roof. I would also say that with their focus on finding and nurturing local artists you will truly find something unique when you walk through the door.

Josie and Ian Scott Massie also teach in the fabulous Artison program founded by Gaynor Pearson and Sue Palin who believe art can be something everyone can and should try. A day at ArtisOn is an experience – “you time” where you take home more than simply what you’ve created. Treat yourself or come with friends, meet people with similar interests, be inspired! Wonderful homemade lunches are also provided as well as great tea, coffee and cakes so that your creativity will also be well fed!
