Olio app for food waste

If you follow us on our social media you may be aware we are doing a few articles on money saving tips as well as being keen on environmentally sound ideas.
So as part of this series I introduce to those of you that havn't heard of it the OLIO app - this is both to give away unwanted food items or to collect them. We have used it if say we need to give away items that can't be frozen for example eggs - you simply register on the app and you can give items away or collect them - especially for items comming up to their use by date. We understand in this time people are being both careful of money and the environment so this can be a useful tool.  People have used it to set up centeral banks for time sensitive food that the food bank won't take which means only one drop off and one collection if people are short for time.
