The 2015 Cake & Bake Show extravaganza, in association with Neff begins at the Harrogate International Centre from 19-21 June, before heading for London, Manchester and Edinburgh in October. ‘Honorary’ Yorkshire woman, Rosemary Shrager will be joining the nation’s favourite baking stars including Eric Lanlard, John Whaite, Lisa Faulkner and Phil Vickery. Yorkshire baking fans will be served up an array of delicious treats including live demonstrations with the nationals favourite baking celebrities, skills classes, market stands, sugar crafting, live competitions, book signings, plus all the latest baking trends and tools! Come and join in the fun, be inspired and learn new skills from the Cake & Bake Show family and new comers: Gregg Wallace: Television presenter and foodie king (and Strictly Come Dancing survivor..!) Aaron Craze: Junior Bake-Off presenter and children’s television favourite. Brendan Lynch: Great British Bake Off finalist from Series Three. TV Chef Rosemary Shrager, says: ‘I’m tremendously excited to be part of the Cake & Bake Show family and coming to Harrogate is an extra thrill because I lived in Yorkshire for so many happy years. I cannot wait, the atmosphere at the shows is always so exciting and it will be wonderful to be able to meet so many baking enthusiasts – so come along and say hello.’ Simon Kent, director of HIC Yorkshire, added: “Cake & Bake 2015 is a great show to have on Harrogate’s calendar of summer events. It promises to be a vibrant event with lots going on and we are expecting a good turn-out of food lovers making their way to Harrogate for the range of activities and famous cookery experts. “If baking is all about having a go and having some fun then Harrogate is exactly where you can do just that at the Cake and Bake Show.” There are lots of exciting new features this year, including a Super Cake & Bake Theatre, in association with Neff: a FREE, super-sized baking theatre, with a programme of delicious demos from some of the nation’s biggest baking stars. There is something for everyone one including a range of exciting activities for cake experts and baking enthusiasts to hone their skills even further in 3 Classrooms: Decorating, Baking and Tasting.
Also from a visitors point of view there is a large car park underneath the Harrogate International Centre which allows all day parking. There is also free all day parking available on the surrounding streets on a Sunday so its worth checking in advance and save your money for shopping in the show! I have also enclosed a map of where the multi story car parks are as a further back up.
