Spring in Harrogate is a spectacle not to be missed. Think huge swathes of crocuses and nodding daffodils on the Stray and then, a little later, the Cherry Blossom walks are ablaze with pink, with petals floating like confetti in the breeze as you walk along. If you are a keen gardener, you won’t want to miss the Harrogate Spring Flower Show taking place at the Great Yorkshire Events Centre, Harrogate from 23 – 26 April 2026. This event is one of the UK’s leading celebrations of gardening and spring horticulture. Expect stunning show gardens, expert talks, floral art showcases and an extensive range of gardening exhibitors — perfect for lovers of plants, design and seasonal inspiration. Taking place on Monday 4th May 2026 on Bilton Fields, this annual community event is always popular. It combines live entertainment, stalls, family activities and community fundraising. Harrogate is also just a short train or car journey from the First Direct Arena in Leeds (Arena Way, LS2 8BY) which hosts some of the biggest concerts and events in Yorkshire.
