'Elderflower' festival, Bushcraft Demonstrations, Farm Animals & wildlife Walks - all as part of our Open Farm Sunday! Date: Sunday 7th June

There will be various activities running throughout the day: Elderflower Festival We are one of the only commercial growers of Organic Elderflower in the UK and we use the flowers to make our award winning cordial. There are so many wonderful ways to use Elderflower – come along and find out more! Bushcraft Demonstrations There will be Bushcraft demonstrations all day from ‘Big Hat Bushcamp’ including: matchless firelighting and shelter building. Weather permitting there might even be woodland games! Bushcraft is a great way to learn about the outdoors in a fun environment. Brilliant for the whole family, come along and get a taste for survival! Farm Animals Come and see our friendly flock of rare breed Teeswater sheep. Learn about the importance of sheep as part of our Organic farm rotation. Also you can hear about the Teeswater wool which makes a high quality yarn. Bakery Delights! The Side Oven bakery will be open all day busy baking specialist breads, croissant, cakes and sweetbuns. We will have a sitting area in the sunshine perfect to enjoy late breakfasts, lunches and afternoon teas! We will also be serving local Mr Moo icecream with our own homemade topping!
