17th of Jan sees the Poems, Prose & Pints group reappear for 2018 in its home of the North Bar Harrogate. Joining them for their first meeting of the year is flourishing writer and poet Ian Clarke who we have adopted in Yorkshire from his homeland of Fenland (East Anglia). Ian is on his third volume of poems Owl Lit. His other volumes include A Slow Stirring and Bard 132 should you enjoy what you hear. There will also be a no pressure open mike aspect to the evening should you wish to try out pieces of your own in this friendly and supportive environment. If you do wish to join in with the open mike you must email the organiser in email@example.com as it is popular event. Shay is a published poet in her own right with work apearing in the volume Grit:New stories by Yorkshire Writers which was launched at Wakefield Literature Festival.

Barney Norris will be at the Harrogate Waterstones on the 1st of February 2018 at 6.30pm to discuss his new book Turning for Home.
