The Square Restaurant in response to their successful cookery school program for 2013 have just announced their up and coming program for 2014 - and at £15 per class including all materials and equipment it can't be beaten on value.
Also all money paid for the cookery school goes to a deserving local charity - ie for 2013 £1600 was given to the Harrogate Lions for the laser eye project.
The Schedule for 2014 is (exact dates to be set
January 27th 6.30pm - Making that special Valentines Dinner - an easy 3 course meal for your loved one.
February - How to get the best out of spices - making the dishes not to hot
March - Getting ready for Easter - all about chocolate
April - Dressings, salads and light spring summer ideas
May - Fish, how to get the best out of seasonal fish
June - Vegetarian dishes which can be turned into meat dishes
July - BBQ dishes
August - Value for money dishes - getting the best out of the cheaper end of food
supper and refreshments will be included on all dates.

25-27th of October will see the first year of the sister festival to the
Theakstons Old Peculiar Crime Writing Festival come to Harrogate - this new
Festival Celebrating Historical Writing will bring both practical advice for
writers as well as famous authors for the general public!

There are over 250 Lost Sheep
in Yellow Jerseys hidden in and around the Yorkshire Dales, Ripon, Knaresborough
and Harrogate. Spot 3 different sheep, report your sightings on

The date for 2014 will be the 29th of June 2014 so could easily be combined with the Harrogate dance Festival (www.harrogatedancefestival.co.uk) which will be on the same weekend. We are also working on bringing in more 1940's related events such as an Allo Allo themed dinner with more to come!

This may well seem a very odd photo to you - but it is a big change for us at The Camberley.
Until the 8th of February we had 2 single rooms which had private bathrooms - ie not ensuite the bathroom was accross the landing. The work we are doing now means we will be entirely ensuite which obviously is far better for our guests, as well as meaning 2 brand new bathrooms in an attractive shape and size. Construction should be finished on the 1st of March and then the carpet will be fitted and decorating will be done - all finished in time for the March Bridal fair at the Harrogate International center.
We have also bought a whole new set of furniture for room 4 and with the alterations this will be a much larger room than it was previously - so will now have a king size bed.
